officials say this isn't the first time this has happened in the area. another surfer was attacked by a shark in the same area >> pam: it has been more than a week since a violent confrontation between an s- u-v driver and a group of bikers. that was caught on camera. >> pam: three men are charged with setting in motion the events. that led up to the brutal beating of the s-u-v- driver. >> pam: but, as margaret conley reports, investigators are still piecing together who played what part in the violence. >> reporter: an off-duty new york police officer was riding with the bikers. there are questions about why he didn't report seeing the assault until days later. he has hired a lawyer, and is being investigated by the internal affairs unit.
